The Cider House Rounders hail from around the Bristol area, where they all met participating in the same pub session. The music they play, however, originates from closer to Bristol, Tennessee being drawn from the traditional music of the Appalachians.

With the classic string band line-up of fiddle, banjo, guitar and bass they take old tunes and songs and work up new and sometimes surprising arrangements.

This is dance music, so dancer Jo Wright joins Gordon Prest, Mike Bostock, Cathy Benjamin and Keith Burrows to help raise the roof wherever they play.
